We process shredder residues from our own operations and for external companies across Europe.
The residues consist of a light and a heavy fraction. Both are processed further at MGG Metran: through the intelligent combination of a large number of physical separation processes we recover non-ferrous metal concentrates, plastics, circuit boards and organic fractions from them.
The real know-how lies not in the individual machines but in the sequence: which process follows which determines how clean the fractions are at the end. That sequence is a separate decision for every input material.
What used to count as landfill material has become feedstock for the next separation stage.
