The large sites have their own rail sidings. MGG Metrec and MGG Metran received the Rail Cargo Group environmental award for the shift to rail.
A block train replaces a considerable number of truck journeys. Because our large sites have their own rail sidings, we can load ferrous scrap and other bulk goods onto rail directly at the works — with no truck haul to a transhipment yard.

For deliveries by block train or single wagon please arrange the slot with dispatch in advance. Then the intake is prepared and everything is faster.
